Brand66

Just what the world needs: another blog from another self-important design guru. Brand66 is a design discussion presented by — me, Michael Rylander. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to work on some the world's great brands, like Apple, Sony, BMW, Fortune, and American Express.

Solarbeat

Solarbeat is a nifty web app that would make Copernicus giggle with delight. Each dot represents one of our planets, and as they rotate, they cross over the "string," creating a note. The planets are programmed to revolve just as fast as their real-world counterparts (relative to each other) which makes for a beautifully organic sound. Try it, you'll like it.
