Oil spill produces slick info-graphic

For us non-scientist types, it can be hard to get a handle on the relative importance of something like the recent Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Judging from news reports, we know it's bad. But how does it compare to other spills? David McCandless at Information is Beautiful puts things into perspective with this fascinating chart.
