I’m not sure when the trend started, but these days technology sites routinely provide us with “tear-downs” of the latest iPads, laptops and other devices. The insides have become just as important as the outsides. I’ve tried for years to find a project that would accommodate a disassembled visual idea, with no luck. I’m beginning to think it will never happen, but it doesn’t stop me from admiring Todd McLellan’s beautiful photographic series. Engadget should hire him to do it right.
